Welcome to How To Overcome Anxiety Today! Hi, my name is Viki. I was diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder (better known as GAD) and Panic Disorder in 1985. Every waking moment was filled with anxiety and fear. I went from being an avid nature photographer, bicycling 10 to 20 miles a day to a person who struggled everyday to get to and from work only feeling relief in my own home. For years I felt like I was the only person on earth with this condition. Mental health awareness has really improved over the years. Through much research I was finally able to understand my condition and vowed to no longer let it run my life. I found many methods along the way to help me successfully overcome my anxiety. I created this website to help others avoid the drastic changes that anxiety and panic attacks can have on a person’s life.
Today, I am a happy person, living life to the fullest!

For example, if meditation works for you then stick with it. But, that doesn’t mean you have to listen to the same meditation every day! Change things up a bit, there are lots of meditation audios available, why limit yourself to just one?
